Business Operations & Systems
I help growing organizations turn fragmented processes into clear, maintainable operating systems. My work combines business operations, workflow automation, cross-functional delivery, and international coordination.

I design practical structures for CRM, lifecycle management, reporting, documentation, and internal workflows, with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and long-term use.
I identify repetitive or fragmented processes and connect everyday tools to reduce manual handoffs, improve consistency, and make information easier to manage.
I translate operational needs into clear requirements, coordinate stakeholders, and carry projects and process improvements from planning through implementation.
I support teams, vendors, and operational processes across countries, languages, and time zones, helping different groups work together effectively.
Three examples that show how I approach systems, process design, and delivery across different environments.
01
As Ark Academy’s first employee, I worked directly with the founder to build the operational foundation needed as the company grew from a small team into an international education business. I designed a connected operating environment covering student lifecycle management, CRM, sales and reporting, enrollment, scheduling, documentation, and internal workflows.
Using Airtable, Fillout, Google Workspace, n8n, Make, and related tools, I replaced fragmented information and manual handoffs with structured data, clearer ownership, and automated processes. The resulting system became the company’s primary source of operational information and continued evolving as its programs, teams, and markets changed.
The work involved more than implementing software. I translated changing business needs into maintainable processes, balanced immediate priorities with long-term usability, and coordinated across leadership, operations, customer service, and development.
02
As the company grew, its original international payment workflow became increasingly expensive and difficult to manage for Korean operations. I evaluated local payment options and designed the operational transition to infrastructure better suited to the Korean market.
I mapped the payment process from customer purchase through settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and internal reporting. I managed provider onboarding and documentation, defined the required process changes, and connected the new payment setup with the company’s website, sales records, student management system, and financial reporting.
The resulting system simplified how payments were collected and tracked, reduced dependence on international payment workflows, and created a more reliable foundation for local operations. The design balanced customer experience, transaction costs, administrative requirements, integration capability, and long-term maintainability.
03
As a game designer on Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, I helped translate creative ideas into structured systems that developers, artists, and other designers could implement consistently. My work included gameplay systems, combat mechanics, balancing formulas, feature specifications, and detailed game design documentation.
I worked across disciplines to clarify requirements, identify how different mechanics affected one another, and keep the design aligned throughout production. I also conducted gameplay testing, quality assurance, and iterative balancing to identify problems and improve the overall player experience.
The project was ultimately released commercially on Steam and consoles. It remains an early example of the approach I continue to use in operations and product work today: understand the full system, document decisions clearly, test how the parts interact, and refine the design based on real outcomes.
